whom should we pray to - elders - demi gods - ancestors
whom should we pray to - elders - demi gods - ancestors
as per bhagavat geetha 9-25
Lord krishna says people will be born among the one who they pray to. so if one wants moksha/attachment/happiness is depends on their prayers. if one has so much affection on their departed elders, then they can pray them to be born among them in the next life. if one wants to reach higher regions then they have to pray to supreme god. who is supreme god... in geetha he is krishna.. few other puranas says Lord vishnu and siva are same .. so can we pray both to get moksha.? In geetha itself krishna asks to chant om to meditate.. (Chant Om in Geetha ) so it also sugeests if we chant Om it is like praying krishna... and we know it is also like praying shiva.. so it concludes that Om chanting is a single prayer for both krishna and shiva and by chanting Om we get benediction of Moksha.
