how to do ekadasi fast - fasting procedure

 on 10th day one need to take food before sunset.

on that night sleep on hard floor. (should not sleep on vaikunta ekadasi)

then on 11 day take bath with amla pulp. ( if it is vaikunta ekadasi visit vishnu temple before sunrise through north entrance)

Recite Vishnu Sahasra Nama 

do Mouna Vrata

To the extent possible try not to touch anybody

on 12th day do vishnu pooja and break fast in parana time.
